Print and Copy Sudokus

To print the current Sudoku, use the Print... command in the Game menu, click the corresponding toolbar button or press on the keyboard. To reduce the number of dialogs that are needed to print the current Sudoku, the basic settings are taken from the 'Multiple Print' dialog. If you have not used this dialog yet, the default is to print the current Sudoku including its solution on an extra page.

You can also print multiple Sudokus with or without solution in different layouts. The number of cells and the Sudoku layout is taken from the current Board Size or Other Boards setting in the View menu. Use the Multiple Print... command in the Game menu to open the 'Multiple Print' dialog that allows to specify different printing options.

Note: The trial version of the Sudoku application creates only 15 different Sudokus per size. Thus, if you print more than 15 Sudokus, these will be repeated from the 16th on. Of course, this restriction is removed when you register your copy of MaaTec Sudoku.

You can get a print preview for both the current Sudoku and the multiple Sudokus via the Game menu commands Print Preview and Multiple Print Preview...

If you want to have more control on the layout or if you want to print different modified Sudokus on one page, you can copy the current Sudoku or its solution and put it on the clipboard. From here you can paste it as graphic or text into other applications. Use the Copy Game command in the Edit menu to copy the current game. You can also use the toolbar or the keyboard . To copy the solution of the current game, use the Copy Solution command or the toolbar or on the keyboard.

The Sudoku application will create a copy as text and as scalable graphic. As word processors usually use the text format as default when pasting data, you will need to use the 'Paste Special...' command to copy a graphic into a text document. For best results choose 'Enhanced Metafile' in the Paste Special dialog of your word processing application. The text format contains the Sudoku data as tab-separated list that you can paste in spreadsheet applications etc.
